Notes of discussion at Committee Meeting, Monday 1st June, 2009

 

  1. Stage trailer – wheel clamp & insurance

  2. New industrial vacuum cleaner has been purchased and a new cleaner has been employed.

  3. Treasurer’s report. Balance £7,323. Cash in hand £70.56

  4. After discussion, Dorrien agreed that for the time being he would set up the room for the Whist Club on Thursdays and clear accordingly.

  5. National Village Hall Survey – Financial section to be completed by Kevin.

  6. Julie reported that the Party weekend of 16th/17th May had been well supported. The decision on a date for the games evening has been postponed until September.

  7. Agreed that the committee give permission for the parish council to site a notice board at the front of the Memorial Hall car park.

  8. Lynne supplied copies of a breakdown of costs for the first floor room project.

    9.  

  9. Eileen reported that the drain outside the kitchen was blocked.

    10.  

  10. Lynne supplied quotes to Julie for A3 frames for new photos to be displayed on a rota with existing images.

 

9. Sheepy Greens reported on their progress with the project on the hall’s heating system & supplied a quote in the sum of £55,000
