On display: 1728 Will of John Clark of Little Sheepy; Original Minton Tile dated 1850 from the church; December 1914 Illustrated War News; 1948 original wayleave agreement at Sheepy School; 1917 & 1930s original postcards; 1965 article featuring M Davies MBE of Ratcliffe & H  Greenfield of Harris Bridge; 1973 Charity Commission Registration of Sheepy Recreation Ground; 1978 Renewal of Water Mains; circa 1988 local Tree Preservation Order; 1988 Parish Magazines; 1996 leaflet designating Sibson Conservation area;

Illustrated Talks/Films: 1) “Power on the Land” A film made in 1943 in colour (running time 15 minutes) demonstrating how advances in technology and machinery helped modernise agriculture; 2) Short slide show on the building & restructuring timeline of 32-36 Ratcliffe Lane cottages from the late 1500s to the early 19th century; 3) Projected image/discussion of the table setting/food served at George IV’s coronation in 1821

For information: 1) University of Leicester have put over a 1000 photographs online at http://specialcollections.le.ac.uk/cdm/landingpage/collection/p15407coll5 of Leicester streets & buildings which were subsequently demolished between 1955 and 1975 mainly due to slum clearance. 2) The Royal Archives https://www.royal.uk/royal-archives have already digitised Queen Victoria’s journals & scrapbooks which also include paintings and sketches. Also recently published online at http://gpp.royalcollection.org.uk/Aboutcatalogue.aspx are approx 33000 records relating to the Georgian monarchy (mostly George III)
